Reson8 is our professional vocal octet, which launched in 2024. Featuring some of the finest professional singers from our region, the members of Reson8 shine as much as solo artists as they do in an ensemble! Reson8's diverse repertoire highlights music from J.S. Bach to Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copland to living composers like Reena Esmail and Gilda Lyons, representing Resonance Works’ commitment to programming music that deserves to be heard — performed at the highest level of artistry.

On July 12 and 13, Chamber Music Pittsburgh presents the Reson8 Vocal Octet in "Singing Out Loud", celebrating the vibrant voices of LGBTQ+ creators in a soul-stirring concert of beauty and belonging. The program will include works by Jennifer Higdon, Conrad Susa, Mari Esabel Valverde, Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, Franz Schubert, Caroline Shaw, Leonard Bernstein, Ricky Ian Gordon, Stephen Sondheim, and more.
